Helping a Student Return to the Classroom
Financial hardship can force students to put their education on hold, even when they are eager to continue learning and build a better future. In this case, the student had to stop studying midway and take a job at a restaurant because of the family’s financial difficulties.
Despite these challenges, the student remained determined to resume their education. However, the admission and form submission fees amounted to BDT 7,575, which the family was unable to arrange.
Education Assistance to Rebuild Hope
Understanding the student’s circumstances and determination to continue studying, Do Something Foundation (DSF) provided BDT 7,575 in education assistance to help cover the required fees.
This support aims to remove an immediate financial barrier and give the student an opportunity to return to their studies. For students facing economic hardship, timely assistance can make an important difference in keeping educational aspirations alive.
Investing in a Brighter Future
DSF believes that financial difficulties should not prevent deserving students from pursuing an education. Through its Education Aid programme, the foundation supports students who need assistance with essential educational expenses.
This initiative was made possible through the generosity of Fahmida Hossain and Dilruba Fazlullah, whose contribution is helping a student take a step towards continuing their educational journey.
