Mental health care is not only treatment—it is about restoring dignity, hope, and humanity.
Do Something Foundation (DSF) has so far taken responsibility for the treatment and care of 10 people living with mental health conditions. With proper treatment, care, and support, several of them have shown significant improvement and returned to a healthier life.
One of our beneficiaries, a young woman who had previously been kept in chains, recovered through treatment and support. After her recovery, she was able to begin a new chapter in her life and got married.
The person in the photo is Arshed Ali. He was once healthy, but today he is living in extremely difficult circumstances and has been kept in chains.
DSF has taken responsibility for supporting his treatment and recovery. We sincerely hope that, with appropriate medical care, compassion, and continuous support, Arshed Ali will also recover and regain a healthy and dignified life, Insha'Allah.
