After suffering a heart attack and being forced to sell his van to cover medical expenses, Sanowar Hossain and his family faced severe financial hardship. As they had no access to a tube well at home, the Do Something Foundation (DSF) installed a tube well to provide the family with access to safe water.
DSF Provides Safe Water Access to Sanowar Hossain’s Family
Sanowar Hossain once earned his livelihood by driving a van and used his income to support his family. However, his life took a difficult turn when he suddenly suffered a heart attack and required urgent medical treatment, including the placement of a heart stent.
To cover the costs of his treatment, Sanowar had to sell his only source of income—his van. His family faced such severe financial hardship that local people even collected donations through community announcements to help fund his medical operation.
Amid these difficult circumstances, another serious problem remained. Sanowar Hossain's family did not have a tube well at their home. Although access to safe water was urgently needed, the family could not afford the cost of installing one.
Recognizing the family's urgent need, the Do Something Foundation (DSF) stepped forward to provide support. A new tube well has been installed for Sanowar Hossain and his family, ensuring easier access to water and reducing one of their daily struggles.
This initiative reflects DSF's commitment to supporting vulnerable families and addressing essential needs that can improve their daily lives and dignity.
