Do Something Foundation installed a tube well for Zulekha, a vulnerable woman who was unable to collect water from distant sources due to a serious injury sustained in a road accident.
Zulekha previously had no tube well at her home and had to depend on distant sources to collect water. Her situation became even more difficult after a road accident left her with a serious injury to her hip, making it extremely challenging for her to walk long distances and carry water.
She also lives without support from her husband, who remarried and lives elsewhere.
Recognizing her urgent need for accessible water, Do Something Foundation installed a tube well at her home. This support will help reduce her daily hardship and provide easier access to water.
Through such initiatives, Do Something Foundation continues to support vulnerable individuals and families by improving access to essential services and helping restore dignity and independence.
