Reach
In Bangladesh, a single illness or accident can push an entire family into poverty. Imagine watching your child suffer, knowing there is medicine that could help — but knowing you cannot afford it. Our Healthcare & Medical Support program stands between families and that devastating choice, bringing treatment, medicines, medical camps and eye care to those who would otherwise go without.
Our medical work helps the most vulnerable access essential treatment — covering medicines, hospital care and procedures that families cannot afford on their own. And through free medical camps, we bring the clinic directly to communities where the nearest doctor is a day's journey away.

Some of our most powerful work is also our simplest. Thousands of people — many of them elderly — live with cataract blindness that a short, inexpensive operation can cure. Through eye screening camps and cataract surgery funding, we give people back their sight, their independence and their place in the world.
“I had not seen my grandson's face clearly in three years. The day after the operation, I looked at him and wept.”
