A New Sense of Mobility for Saheb Ali

For a person living without both legs, everyday movement can become a major challenge. Simple activities such as going outside, visiting nearby places, or travelling for essential needs may require assistance from others.

Saheb Ali, who is living without both legs, has faced such mobility challenges in his daily life. Limited mobility can affect not only independence but also a person’s ability to participate in family and community activities.

Recognising his need for greater mobility, the Do Something Foundation (DSF) has provided Saheb Ali with an auto wheelchair.

The specially designed mobility support will help him move more independently and reduce his dependence on others for everyday transportation. It is also expected to make it easier for him to travel outside his home and take part in necessary activities.

For people living with physical disabilities, appropriate mobility equipment can make a meaningful difference. A wheelchair is not simply a means of transportation; it can provide greater freedom, independence, and dignity.

Through its Disability Support Programme, DSF continues to assist people with disabilities by providing wheelchairs and other essential support based on their individual needs.

This initiative reflects DSF’s commitment to standing beside vulnerable individuals and helping them overcome barriers to mobility and participation in everyday life.
