A Mother and Her Children in Need of Safe Shelter
Sharifa’s life became increasingly difficult after her husband left her and their two children. With the responsibility of raising her children on her own, she struggled to provide them with even the basic necessities of life.
The family had been living in a small, makeshift shelter that was in such poor condition that it was unsuitable for proper living. For Sharifa and her children, having a safe and secure home remained an urgent need.
A New Home and a Fresh Start
Understanding the family’s vulnerable situation, Do Something Foundation (DSF) provided Sharifa and her two children with a new home.
This support gives the family a more suitable place to live and offers hope for a more secure future. For a mother raising two children under difficult circumstances, a safe home can provide more than shelter. It can offer stability, comfort, and a stronger foundation for rebuilding their lives.
Restoring Dignity Through Housing Support
Safe housing is essential for protecting vulnerable families and helping children grow up in a secure environment. Through its Housing & Shelter initiatives, DSF works to support families who lack adequate living conditions.
The new home for Sharifa and her children reflects DSF’s commitment to standing beside vulnerable families and helping them move towards a life with greater safety and dignity.
