A Determined Student Refusing to Let Disability Define Her Future
For Bannya, pursuing education has never been an easy journey. Born with a physical disability, she has faced mobility challenges throughout her life. Yet, despite the obstacles, she has remained determined to continue her studies and work towards a better future.
Her journey reflects courage, perseverance, and an unwavering belief in the power of education. Through dedication and hard work, Bannya successfully completed her Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination. She is currently studying at a technical college, continuing to pursue her educational aspirations despite the difficulties she encounters every day.
Mobility Challenges on the Road to Education
While Bannya has overcome many challenges through determination, travelling to and from college remains a major difficulty. Limited mobility makes her daily commute particularly challenging and can increase her dependence on others for transportation and movement.
An appropriate wheelchair can make a meaningful difference in her everyday life. It can help her move more comfortably, reduce some of the physical difficulties associated with travelling, and provide greater freedom in managing her daily activities.
For Bannya, improved mobility is not simply about getting from one place to another. It is also about gaining greater access to education, participating more independently in everyday life, and continuing to pursue her ambitions.
DSF Provides Wheelchair Through Project #745
Recognizing Bannya’s circumstances and her determination to continue her education, Do Something Foundation (DSF) provided her with a wheelchair through Wheelchair Project #745.
This support aims to ease her mobility challenges and help her continue attending college with greater comfort and independence.
The initiative was made possible through the generous contributions of Brothers & Sisters from USA, DRH, and Anonymous Donors. Their kindness has helped provide practical mobility support to a student who is determined to move forward despite the challenges she faces.
Supporting Education, Dignity, and Independence
Disability should never prevent someone from accessing education or pursuing personal ambitions. However, without appropriate mobility support and an inclusive environment, people with physical disabilities can face significant barriers in their daily lives.
Bannya’s story reminds us that determination is important, but access to the right support can make that determination more meaningful and achievable.
Through this initiative, DSF seeks not only to address an immediate mobility need but also to support Bannya’s educational journey and independence. A wheelchair can offer more than physical mobility; it can create opportunities for greater participation, confidence, and access to everyday activities.
We sincerely hope this assistance will make Bannya’s journey to college easier and help her continue working towards her dreams.
Because every student deserves the opportunity to learn, every person deserves dignity, and no disability should stand in the way of a brighter future.
