Do Something Foundation (DSF), with financial support from Abundance of Good Inc. USA, has provided BDT 3,50,000 in financial assistance to seven families of the victims of the deadly Bogura road accident that occurred on Friday, August 7, 2026.
The accident took place at approximately 5:30 AM on August 7, 2026, in the Erulia Silkibandha area of the Bogura–Naogaon regional highway in Bogura Sadar Upazila. A passenger bus travelling from Dhaka towards Naogaon reportedly lost control, struck an electric pole and crashed into day labourers who had gathered beside the road in search of work. Seven people were killed and several others were injured.
In response to the tragedy, DSF provided BDT 50,000 to each of the seven affected families, totaling BDT 3,50,000. The assistance was intended to help the bereaved families cope with immediate financial difficulties following the loss of their family members.
The support was funded by Abundance of Good Inc. USA and organised by Do Something Foundation (DSF).
