Season
Every winter, headlines count the cold's toll in the districts least able to bear it. For a family whose roof is tin and whose children sleep on a mat, a warm quilt is not a comfort — it is survival. Our Clothing & Seasonal Support program makes sure that when the temperature drops, warmth reaches the people who need it first.
The families most exposed to winter are the ones least equipped for it: the elderly living alone, day labourers whose work stops in the fog, children in villages where the temperature dips sharply at night. We track the seasons and distribute in advance — because a blanket given in December is worth more than one promised for January.

Clothing is protection, but it is also dignity. A child with a school uniform fits in. An elder with a warm shawl sits proudly in the community gathering. Seasonal support is one of our simplest programs — and one of the most human.
“The winter of the flood, my children shivered all night. That blanket distribution — I still remember who handed it to me.”
