Yet for many families, a wheelchair is a luxury they simply cannot afford. Our program provides wheelchairs to those who need them most, and in doing so, restores much more than movement.
A wheelchair might look like equipment, but for the person who receives it, it is freedom. It is the ability to go outside after years of being confined. It is the chance to work, study, worship and connect with loved ones. For many people, a wheelchair transforms their entire life.
With a wheelchair, a person can again contribute to their family and community. They can attend school, pursue a livelihood and take part in daily life. They regain not just movement, but their dignity and place in the world.
