Approach
In the villages and city fringes of Bangladesh live thousands of elderly people with no one left to provide for them. Some are widows; some outlived their children; many survive on what neighbours can spare. Our Elderly & Vulnerable People Support program exists so that growing old in poverty does not also mean growing old alone.
A lifetime of work deserves a dignified old age. But for many of the elderly poor, the final years are the hardest — no income, fading health, and no family able to help. The support we bring is often simple: rice and staples, medicine, a blanket in winter. What it says is anything but simple: you are not forgotten.

We deliver support the way you would care for your own grandparent — sitting with them, listening, returning. For people who have spent a lifetime giving to others, being cared for is a quiet, profound restoration of dignity.
“My husband passed and my sons are gone. When they come with rice and sit for tea, I feel I still belong to someone.”
