Empowering Livelihoods: DSF Gifts New Auto Rickshaw to Drive Financial Independence
For many low-income households, physical labor alone is often insufficient to meet rising daily expenses. Previously relying on a manual pedal-van and occasionally selling vegetables, the beneficiary struggled for a long time to sustain his family's livelihood on a meager income.
Recognizing that manual transport was physically exhausting and yielded insufficient earnings, the Do Something Foundation (DSF) intervened to offer a long-term solution aimed at self-reliance and economic stability.
Under Income Generation Project #1267 (Rickshaw No #27), DSF officially handed over a brand-new battery-operated auto rickshaw during a delivery drive in Sirajganj Sadar.
This initiative was funded through joint sponsorship by BUET 87 Foundation and Abul Khondkar. With this upgraded vehicle, the beneficiary can now earn a stable daily wage with greater efficiency and ease, securing a dignified future for his family.
