DSF Store #203: A New Beginning for Jadav Chandra Roy
Shri Jadav Chandra Roy was previously employed as a garment worker. Two years ago, his life changed dramatically when he lost both of his legs in a road accident.
The cost of medical treatment exhausted all of his savings, leaving him and his family in severe financial hardship. With no land or property apart from their home, Jadav and his wife and children have been struggling to meet their daily needs.
In the hope of supporting his family, Jadav requested assistance to establish a small grocery store. Responding to his need, Do Something Foundation (DSF) has helped him set up DSF Store #203, providing him with an opportunity to earn a sustainable income.
This initiative is part of DSF's commitment to empowering vulnerable individuals through livelihood and income-generation support, helping families move towards greater dignity, independence, and financial stability.
