DSF Helps Strengthen a Small Business Through Income Generation Support
For many low-income families, a small business is more than just a source of income—it is a pathway towards financial stability, dignity, and self-reliance. With the right support, small entrepreneurs can expand their businesses and create better opportunities for themselves and their families.
As part of its commitment to sustainable livelihood development, the Do Something Foundation (DSF) has provided income generation support to a small business owner in Shyamnagar, Satkhira.
Under Income Generation Project #1240 (Store #198), support was provided to help strengthen and develop the beneficiary's existing small business. The assistance will enable the shop owner to improve the business and work towards generating a more sustainable income.
The initiative was generously donated by Dr. Nasreen Banu and Dr. Ismat Ara.
DSF believes that sustainable livelihood support can create long-term positive change in the lives of vulnerable individuals and families. By supporting small businesses and income-generating activities, the Foundation aims to help beneficiaries become financially independent and reduce their dependence on external assistance.
