The Do Something Foundation (DSF) has provided BDT 116,327 in medical assistance to 16-year-old Shamim, who is suffering from Acute Kidney Disease on Chronic Kidney Disease and requires regular dialysis and ongoing medical treatment.

DSF Stands Beside 16-Year-Old Shamim in His Fight Against Serious Kidney Disease

Sixteen-year-old Shamim is battling a serious and complex kidney condition diagnosed as Acute Kidney Disease on Chronic Kidney Disease. At such a young age, he has already been facing the physical and emotional challenges of a long and demanding treatment journey.

Shamim requires two dialysis sessions every week, amounting to approximately eight dialysis sessions per month. In addition to the cost of dialysis, his family must also bear the expenses of medicines, medical tests, hospital visits, and other essential treatments.
